This would help fill the gap in December between the last regular season games and the bowl games. As it is right now, I think the gap is way too long. Also, it makes the conference championship games (for the conferences that have them) even more important because it is like an added round. And the proposed system would add importance, and probably strengthen, the non-BCS conferences. Sounds pretty good.
